…especially during these last few months. Nowhere to go and so many restrictions. Thankfully, we are moving forward, albeit with a bit of caution. @danactingout was able to keep things light and creative for our souls and hopefully shed a bit of humor to all those that were stationed home. God bless and protect us all. Be well.
It’s Official!

First Day Jitters
Do you remember those days? The inevitable first days at school, first day at a new job, first concert– so many firsts. Oh! The excitement when it’s your first day for ANYTHING even when it’s on set with a new cast and crew. You could imagine how I felt working with award-winning director Morten Tyldum (The Imitation Game) on our Cognizant spot which recently aired nationwide! What an amazing experience for me.
A new perspective; I learned a lot that day. Thank you for this opportunity.
Mommy & Me
Talk about my little man! I have such gratitude to have had the pleasure of shooting with my son for a great hospital (it really is ).
Thank you Hackensack Meridian Health! We had such a great time :).
I’m Living Out!
Tomorrow, Living Out commences its 4-week run at the Elmwood Playhouse in Nyack, NY on Thursday, September 13, 2012, the preview, and closes on Saturday, October 6, 2012. I’m very excited about this wonderful opportunity in which I have been blessed with an amazing cast and crew and “el tiempo para disfrutarlos“. I believe this play is equivalent to that of making and baking a cake. All the ingredients have been put together and tomorrow the preview and the run of the show are the icing on the cake! And it’s going to taste so good! You can purchase tickets here: https://www.ticketturtle.com/index.php?preseason=elm. But get them fast –they’re selling out!
Straight out of Elmwood’s Facebook posting, here is a little tid-bit about the show:
“LIVING OUT”, is a “bitingly funny new comedy” as well as a “thought provoking slice of life”. The play is an important piece reflective of the times in which we live when both parents must work and often trust virtual strangers to care for their children. “LIVING OUT” tells the story of the relationships between three Latina nannies and the Anglo families for which they work. The play explores shared cultural qualities, beliefs and values as well as their differences.
Living Out debuts Thursday, September 14, 2012. See you there!
BBQ Must-Haves: Pepsi, Misti & Frito-Lay
Yes! I had to do a little digging for this Pepsi/Frito-Lay spot, but after much perseverance and the I’m-never-giving-up attitude, I FINALLY found it. I give you the long-awaited Pepsi Ad from September:
What a great find! Just me, the hubby and the kids in time for Memorial Day Weekend :)! Now let’s get to BBQing!
That’s A Wrap! with Pepsi & Haywire
Haywire went out with a bang this month in Monroe, NY! The first season has wrapped and it was a great finish. If you haven’t caught an episode yet, view us here on KoldCast.tv. We’ve made Indie Intertube’s Drama of the Week pick for a 4th time! You won’t want to miss Episode 12!
Catch me in stores near you, on coupons, online, and in direct mail from my recent booking with PEPSI as a young Latin Mom of 3. What a great time! At this particular shoot, I was able to work with most amazing photography duo, The Rhoads, who are from one of the sweetest places on the map: Seattle –alongside the crew from Tracy Locke, noted as The 2011 Ad Agency of the Year, with an incredible stylist and her assistants, make-up crew and fun and friendly talent. I actually was able to work with folks I already knew! Here’s a photo of me with one of my “sons” on the way to set:
Nationwide Insurance Photos
I just received the final raw shots where I play a Mom for the Nationwide Insurance print campaign taken in April. Take a peak at a couple of my favorites!
